Micah Parsons Returns to Packers Practice for the First Time Since His Knee Injury
By The Arena Staff
GREEN BAY, Wis., Nov. 5, 2026 — Micah Parsons was back on a practice field Wednesday, and he said he wasn't the least bit nervous about it.
"When you miss over 300 days and are working over 300 days, pretty much no nerves," the Green Bay Packers edge rusher said after his first practice since injuring his knee last December, according to Packers.com.
Parsons took part only in individual drills and was listed as limited, NFL.com reported. His return opens a 21-day window for the Packers to activate him. Twenty-one days from Wednesday lands on the night before Thanksgiving, when Green Bay plays the Rams in Los Angeles. Parsons wouldn't commit to that date.
"I'm not going to pinpoint a day to disappoint anyone or get people's expectations that I can't meet," he said. "I gotta stack 20 days and hopefully on that 21st day I feel incredible."
His recovery took longer than those of teammates Christian Watson and Tucker Kraft, who returned from torn ACLs, because Parsons had both an ACL reconstruction and a full meniscus repair, Packers.com reported. He was frank about where he stands. "My conditioning right now is probably the worst it's been in my career," Parsons said, adding that he does not expect to play 50 or 60 snaps right away.
Quarterback Jordan Love called it a "huge morale boost" to see him back. Coach Matt LaFleur said the same. "It's been a long road, but he's put in the work," LaFleur said.
The four-time All-Pro would join a defense that ranks in the top 10 in the league in points and yards allowed. "I came back for the greatest time of football, and that's November football and December football," Parsons said. "Let the show begin."
